on Pizza! Yeah. This sauce is the best sauce for pizza, in my opinion. I’ve gone through four bottles of it already, mainly for pizza. The next best thing is crushed red peper, salt and ground pepper, but Bat’s Brew beats it by a mile!

Bat’s Brew Hot Sauce: I love this stuff! I put it on everything…gumbo, red beans and rice, eggs, french fries, etc. It does have a vinegary taste but there’s something about it’s tangy flavor that makes it addicting.

I had high hopes for this sauce. Generally I like green jalapeno sauces, but this one doesn’t stack up. It’s got a good heat, but the flavor is vinegary and bitter. Sort of like Tabasco, but less complex and satisfying … and the color is really off-putting. Ah, well.

I love Bat’s Brew! I found it when visiting my sister in Mississippi and now I constantly bug her to send me more. It isn’t as intense as other hot sauces I use but I use it the most often. On everything! It keeps my kids from picking at my food! I especially love it on tomatoes and scrambled eggs, sick, huh?

This is absolutely the best sauce for deep fried oysters. Tried it several years ago at the original Heaven on Seven in Chicago. Nothing has stacked up since.
