Bru Bru’s has a well balanced combination of spice and heat. You don’t need to water it down, but it does meet my hot and spicy spot

It has some wierd flavor sort of like cinnamon or cardomon. You might like it but I don’t care for that flavor in my hot sauce.

The best hot sauce I’ve tried. I keep buying this one. It has FLAVOR, not just heat. Great on everything!

I happen to love this well-balanced heat and yummilicious flavor the bushman packs. It makes tacos unbeliavble, and sandwiches to die for!! Heat level 7. If anyone asks.. I want something with flavor and some heat… I recommend this.

If you are a TRUE lover of hot sauce this is your Ambrosia. I have tasted well over a thousand in my travels. It is not the hottest sauce. It doesn’t try to be. It has a rich, bold flavor with a hint of heat that is very satisfying. If you are looking for nothing but heat this isn’t it. If you are looking to compliment almost any food, look no further. Brother Bru-Bru’s is my absolute favorite!

This sauce is ass. Tasted it, and almost gagged from the flavor. Do not know what the spices are, but it was quickly dispensed to the garbage can. As for heat, it was there, but I needed something to get the bad taste out of my mouth.

I love this sauce! The flavor is unique….. with enough heat to make it interesting but not enough to overpower the excellent flavor. Too bad some have thrown their bottle away–but that means more for the rest of us!

  12. then a very nice after burn kicks in. On a heat scale it is above Tobasco sauce. I use it in cooking.

This sauce is really good. At first taste, you get flavor, not heat

This isn’t close to the HOTTEST hot sauces, but it has a decent kick and great flavor.

Brother Bru Bru Hot Sauce: I don’t know what Zeus is talking about…this is one of my all time favorites…and I have tried out literally hundreds, ranging from tepid to flaming…I do agree that this is NOT in the insanely hot category, nor does it claim to be…BUT…it does have a good heat to it that is not so intense as to overwhelm the actual FLAVOR of this fine sauce…it’s taste is truly different and, as such, makes for an excellent table sauce

Brother Bru Bru Hot Sauce: This sauce was a real dissapointment. Its not hot at all. No Heat what so ever. Tastes somewhat like carrot juice. I had to kick it up a notch to get a little heat. Will not buy it again.

I first had this at the “teocali tamale” restraunt in Crested Butte. Immediately bought some here when I got home. Very hot, peper only(no chemicaly faked Capsaicin taste, yech) and some unique ?african secret pungent flaver.

My initial impression was a flat, earthly, African style spice rub, a muddled taste profile. The vinegar is near non detectable in the taste. The heat is blunt, but id guess no hotter than around 5-6000 scovilles – it lists habenaros but this is not habenero level heat. Probably around a Tabasco, which really isn’t that hot in the world of pepper sauces. One huge pro is that the label says ZERO sodium. That is quite an accomplishment for a hot sauce. There is sort of a peri-peri pepper taste to it as well. Overall I was not expecting this flavor nor have I ever experienced this flavor before. I did like it and found it slightly above average in flavor. I prefer more acid/vinegar and a more bold, habenaro or Serrano based sauce. A buffalo sauce that is super hot. Anyways Brother Bru Bru’s is a solid choice just on having no sodium. It will give you just enough heat and just enough flavor.

    C+ flavor – flat, african peri-peri like
C- heat – low heat punch
